My Blog experience

Hello people! how are you? this has been a long semester, but it finally comes to and end, like all the good things.
If I have to be sincere, when we started this blog, I hated it. I never had a blog before and i don't  know if i will ever do it for fun but this blog was a nice thing. It was fun to read your friends and partners blogs and post, knowing that all of you have to write about the same. Some times in class you don't get well with the people in there but this class was really fun and nice, you wanted to go and had a good time speaking and laughing (in english pleaseee).
I never had real problems speaking english (you can smile a lot and see movies for practice) but writing was a torture. I have problems writing spanish so you can imagine with english...and i was ashamed about it at the point of don't want to write the blogs because of other people will have to read it...but I'm not ashamed any more, i laugh of my faults and my friends didn't bully me because of that, they help me and i help them C: It was...a good experience.

My work as an artist.
Hello people...people? Are you people? What is people? What is hello?...today I will talk you about my work as an artist. Well...I’m a painter, that is my specialty, but I have completed two semesters studding foundry and one studding ceramics so I also had made pieces whit that technics. If I have to define my work artistically speaking....I don’t now what I will say. I’m interested in the material form of the painting seen it like a physical phenomenal whit tridimensional experience. I’m also interested in gender themes, in mass behavior and theology. In my work I like to play whit the reality and put the viewer away from his comfort zone without getting them out of it, working with the morbidity of the viewer and in some times playing whit the technic and the aesthetic to make him desire view the piece even if he didn’t want to. That is what I tried whit my work, what I aspire, make them walk in four legs like animals without their knowledge, make them feel something in their bowels…and through that make them more human.

The images below are from one of my foundry works , is the process and making of a piece call " Calzon Anti-violacion " a chastity belt self-impose for women to protected them self because , as you know, is women's fault to go out on streets with her defenseless body parts . I could not fuse it at the end because of money (foundry is really expensive).

The Chupacabras
Hi People! Today I will talk you about something scary, deeply scary and that still today make some of us cry when the lights are off. When I was a child, me and my sister didn’t watch scary movies, but that didn’t protect us form terrifying creatures, just like the Chupacabras....okay...that’s maybe sound funny and there is even a rap cumbia song named after this monster but when you are 7 years old and you hear that there is something near to the city who likes to eat cows, is smart, maybe an alien and attacks one carabinero...come on! That is freaking scary.

My personal history with the Chupacabras start when my little sister Fran and I go with our parents to a friend’s house. This house was on the limits of the city and when we arrive my sister and I were sleep and my parents decide to leave the kids in the car (them said that we dint want to come out) and go inside the house. When I get awake...it was night, it was dark, my parents were missing and I don’t now were we were. I wake up my little sister and together start to scream our parents name...and them didn’t answer. My sister want to go to the bathroom and we open the door of the car so she can make pee...but when we open it...I hear something on the shadows. It was big, it was bad and it want to eat us. We close the door as fast as we could and crying we laid down on the floor of the car. The thing move outside until....my mom open the door! The scary monster, the evil Chupacabras, was Trabuco, the big and old nice pet dog. My parents never forget themselves for this and remember this night (it were like....15 minutes?) like the night we face the Chupacabras.

Hi People! Well  as you now, we are starting the semester, and that minds something…false expectations! We have to face it, we all make promises like:

-Never late again!-
Or
-Never again late on a test-
Or
-Never again be late  on a test and forgot my lunch! – And we can go on and on…

The point of new semesters are make things right, and make things right also minds ben realist. You will be late (more than you will be on time), you will miss a couple of classes, you will ask your friends for money so you can lunch and never pay (even if you tried...) and not all your works will actually work, you will fail. You will fail in to many things, things in what you will put your hardest wills and hopes, and you will fail. Also you are going to fail in things you didn’t tried, in things you should not fail and in things you should tried not to fail, BUT IT IS FINE.

You are not perfect, you are not made all of victories, you are made of mistakes and unexpected wins to. When you know that you are not always going to shine, is easy to accept mistakes and go on. That is what fails/mistakes/non victories are for, they are there, outside waiting for us to come and face them.
